ONEILL REGIONAL PARK, CADescriptionLocated in majestic Trabuco Canyon, this expansive park offers a unique spot for both day use and camping. Lifes hectic pace slows noticeably when you enter the tree-shaded grounds. The feeling is remote, rural, relaxing.Recreation:23 miles of multi-use trails, family camping, group camping, playground, horseshoe pits, day-use picnic areas, Nature Center, amphitheater, regional park is dog freindly (pets must be leashed at all times, prohibited on wilderness trails), seasonal stream, equestrian facilities (no horse rentals), and beautiful scenic oak woodland. Facilities:Restrooms offer free hot showers and flush toilets. Fill stations and dump station available within campground. Each site has ground stove, barbeque and one concrete picnic table (seats eight). Nearby Attractions:Cleveland National Forest and the Holy Jim Canyon is just a mile from the Regional Park. All of Orange Counties many attractions are less than 30 miles away. 15 miles from Laguna Beach. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important Information IMPORTANT - If your camping party has 17 or more campers, you CAN NOT reserve individual campsites. You MUST camp in a group campsite. Please call the park to reserve a group site.
Rules and Regulations Where available, electricity should only be used for small appliances such as crockpots and coffee makers. Only one trailer is allowed per campsite; only two tents are allowed per campsite. The maximum number of campers allowed per campsite is eight. All campers must be eighteen years of age or older or must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult. The Senior Discount applies to those who are 60 years of age or older. Only applies to the campsite occupied by the eligible person. Proof of age and identification required. Discounts are Non-Transferable. The maximum number of campsites an individual may reserve is two. Check-in Time: 2:00 PM/Check-out Time: 12 Noon.
