Water Line Project May Affect Amenities: A critical waterline replacement project at Caspers Wilderness Park is occurring from June 2014 to November 2014. During this time, the water system may be shut off and park amenities including flushing toilets, showers, and drinking water may be unavailable. Portable toilets and hand wash stations will be available. Currently, there is no water in the Old Corral day use area, Owl and Quail group area, and Starr Mesa equestrian campground. Additional water interruptions throughout the park may occur as the project progresses.
We are unable to provide water for horses in the Starr Mesa equestrian campground however, water may be available in other areas of the park.
Other potential impacts of this project include dust, noise, and area closures (including roads, trails, campsites, and day use areas). If your campsite is affected, you will be offered an alternative site choice. If you wish to change your reservation dates or cancel your reservation, please call 1-800-600-1600 or the park office at 949-923-2210. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during this critical waterline project.
